Why Become a Delegate?
Delegates and Alternates who are elected by their precincts on Caucus Night will decide which House and Senate candidates to endorse at our House and Senate Conventions in March.
In 2020 both the State House and State Senate are up for election so this election will determine not only control of the legislature but also redistricting and how the boundaries of future legislative and congressional districts will be drawn for the next decade. With a DFL governor, it is critical that Republicans retain control of the Senate and retake the House next November and as Delegates and Alternates, your role is to pick the best candidate to represent our party.
To become a Delegate or Alternate, attend precinct caucuses and nominate yourself for consideration by your precinct.
